This one was played at Belfry. I just want to clear something up in case (and I'm not saying that you are) anyone thinks that the only reason that Belfry won was because of home cooking, as Coach Campbell implied in the Appalachian News Express.

“I thought it was poor officiating on Kim,” said Campbell. “She no more than got in the game and touched somebody and it was a foul. I know she made a couple of them, but it was ridiculous. But I'm not going to sit here and blame it on the referees. We beat ourselves with turnovers in the second half.”

Anyone who has ever watched Kim Coleman play either for Pike Central or Phelps can contest the fact that she is usually in foul trouble. And if anything, Phelps got the better of the calls including two blatant charges.
