They have a 2 point loss at Breathitt (in a game which Peyton Wright played about 15 minutes of the game because of foul trouble), losses to Dunbar, Tates Creek, and Russell in a holiday tournament in Lexington, and losses to Knott Central and Perry Central. And Cordia cancelled a game the first week of the season that would have been a win.

I think Owsley will win this game in Booneville if Wright does not get in foul trouble. That is key. I don't think Estill has anyone to match up with her. She's averaging 25 ppg and 12 rebounds. Of course they'll probably put 2 to 3 girls on her, so it's important for the other girls to step up to the plate and help.

I'll go with Owsley by 7.

Estill has the Harris inside who is a rebounding Machine. Estill also has a Starting Freshmen who averages close to 20 PPG. Estill's played a tough schedule too, probably not as hard as Owsley but still they've played a pretty tough schedule (Madison Central, Rock, Montgomery County, Lexington Christian and Breathitt County). Estill doesn't shoot the 3 much they drive it in and get to the Basket and if you aren't careful they will get you in foul trouble. I was watching the Lee/Estill Game (@ Estill) and all Estill done was drove to the basket. I'm sure Coach Green well have his Lady Owls ready just as Coach McKinley will have his Lady Engineers ready for Friday. Hopefully its a good injury free game.

Owsley's going to have to play a lot better than they did against Lee in Beattyville Tuesday. Wright didn't have a good game and the rest of the team didn't shoot very well. Too many turnovers and defensive breakdowns. They can't play the same way against Estill and expect to win.

Just heard that a decision might be made around 2:00 PM. The main roads are okay, but it will probably be up to Estill County whether they want to travel tonight. There's could be some areas that have been salt-melted then re-freeze.

Just seen on Facebook that the games we're still on. The main roads here are clear except for the side roads so I'm sure Estill will be in Booneville tonight
