•BARDSTOWN 63, ST. XAVIER 55: Jordan Brewer scored 20 of his 25 points in the second half, including 12 of 14 free throws, to lead Bardstown. St. X trailed 60-48 with less than a minute left, but rallied to within 60-55 and had the ball with 16 seconds still on the clock. But that’s where the comeback ended. Devonte Grundy added 17 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Anthony Myrks had 8 points, 7 assists and 6 steals. St. X was led by Brock Kielser’s 14 points and 13 rebounds.

guard Anthony Myrks contributed eight points, seven assists and six steals.Bardstown led most of the way, by as many as 17 points in the first half, but it got a scare in the closing minute.St. X trimmed a 60-48 deficit to 60-55 with 16 seconds left and had the ball, but it missed a pair of contested threes.St. X post man Brock Kiesler had 14 points and 13 rebounds. Nathan Smith had 11 points, all on free throws.
