GREAT IDEA

Hazard Independent & Perry County Schools need this! I am not a fan of Haven - but my hat is off to him if he is the one responsible for this event. The two systems have too much to be proud of instead of being compared to Xavier/Cincinnati!

Both games were good last night. Great competition from Central Kentucky and a good crowd.

Can't wait to watch all three games tonight.

It is a good idea for everyone. Our local teams will get the opportunity to play some of these Lexington/Louisville area teams without us having to dish out the money traveling there. Instead, as it grows, it will bring more and more people into the area who will be spending money in our local businesses. Plus, it never hurts to get that Coal Mining Our Future and Friends of Coal messages out there. We just need to make sure everyone treats these teams right when they are here or word will spread and we won't get them to come. I will be heading over to PCC today to watch the games and hope everyone else does to.

All the teams ate dinner together last night at the school. I believe they will do the same tonight. The food drive is also a great idea. This is something very positive for our schools.
