#3
VINCE YOUNGE NUFF SAID.....USC just didnt have an answer for him....Congrats Texas
#4
Vince Young played awesome, but USC choked all around.
#5
I just caught the end of it... sounds like Vince did awesome! Way to go Texas!!!!!
#6
Young played a great game, but when it came down to it, mental mistakes beat USC.
#7
Vince Young put on one of the best single-game performances I've ever seen tonight. He shown why he was one of the best players in the nation. Great game.....
#8
Longhorns held in ther and played one hell of a game.
Vince Young MVP on the offensive side.
#9
Bush who?

exactly it was all lindell white for usc

Almost 500 yards of offense for VY! Simply amazing.

You could tell Leinart had not lost much by his immature comments after the game.

And Mack Brown first class all the way, praising SC and their run before anything else!

I was cheering for the Horns and I'm glad they won!

Or Texas was just the better team! Right?
#13
OK guys who thinks BUSH was just trying to show boat by trying to laterall the pass and fumbled it....IDC how good he is I would of sit his butt down for a long time I mena really its a CHAMPIONSHIP game its like he didnt care b/c he knows hes going 1ST round anyways
#14
Bush was not really a factor Bush style, Texas D was on him as much as is possible.

VY simply outplayed the SC D and SC could not answer enough!
#15
Texas was the better team. This was an outstanding game to watch.

Congrats to Texas !!!!

Both teams had mental lapses. The turning point during the game was when Reggie Bush pitched the long reception he had back to a USC player when Texas recovered the fumble. USC was in total control up until Bush tried to make the big play. This wasn't necessary of Bush and he didn't play the same the rest of the game. What was he thinking?

IMO this was no worse than the fumbled punt return in the first minute of the game immediately following UT coming in and completely shutting down SC on their first drive....

GREAT game...Congrats to Texas on the national championship. Vince Young is a STUD....it will be interesting to see if he returns to Texas for his senior season.

Bull@#$%. If Bush doesn't do his assinine pitch, USC runs away with the championship.
#21
USC was in texas terretory the whole game and didnt score about three or four times missed oppurtunities caused SC to loose the game.
#22
Vince Young showed who the real Heisman was.
Heisman Winner: 86 Rush yds and 1 td
Heisman Runner-up: 267 Pass for 1 td and 200 rush yds for 3 td's.
Vince was unstoppable and reggie was stopped.
#23
Man, I can't stand Texas, but I guess they did what they needed to do to get the W.:coach:

Has anyone seen a replay of the 4th down conversion when the 5 yard face mask was called? I haven't and I would really like to. IMO, thats such a big play that unless its a flagrant grab of the facemask you give it a no call.

But thats just me.
#24
I saw it and actually it shouldve been a 15 yrd instead of 5 because he had ahold of the whole face mask and threw him down...i thought it was intentional but i guess it was a good call.
#25
texas won but usc still has two of the last 3 championships and two of the last three heisman trophys
#26
man one of the best college footbal games I have ever seen and it lived up to all the hype. Vince Young I think is one of the best QB's to ever play the position in College Football history. The USC Defense couldnt stop him all night long I mean he was making play after play after play and leaving Pete Carroll and the rest of the Trojans speechless. He will more than likely go pro but I would love to see him stay. USC played a great game as well but they choked big time in the end ending there 34 game win streak and a shot at the first ever 3-peat. Reggie Bush didnt perform like a Heisman winner last night, but Lendale White played one of the best games of his career and it as well might have been his last at USC. But overall, congrats to Texas on winning an exciting Rose Bowl and Vince Young is just plain awesome. This game was an epic and will never be forgotten. HOOK EM HORNS!

well it should of been a 15 yarder cause he pulled him 2 the ground by it and jerked his head around

VY put up one of the best performances I have ever seen in a football game, and in the hidtory of college football. Yeah Reggie Bush might have won a Heisman, btu Vince Young and Texas won a National Championship and im not saying that winning the Heisman doesnt mean anything b/c it does and it shows how great the recipient is but the National Title would mean a whole lot more to me and Im glad that Texas won what they've been waitin on now for 35 years!

ok if u want to be like that Texas droppin the ball 3 times with the exception of one fumble caused by USC player AND the kicker not blowing a PAT and FG then Texas wins even bigger.
lets not do ifs and buts. USC got beat by a better team.
