I know Covcath advanced further than they had for many years. They also lost only 3 games, which isn't very many by Covcath standards. Was this a good year? Is there a soothing feeling that the program is not as bad as it was in 2007,09, 09, and 10? I know the schedule was watered down, and that may have something to with the wins total, but are the fans happy with the season? Was it a moral victory to say "we lost to the team that won state"? Albeit in a blowout. Do fans have a real feeling the team is better? I'm not convinced myself that any real strides have been made.

I'm pretty sure CovCath fans are a lot happier with Wirth than they were with Brossart.

But is their an air of contentment settling in? The results are basically the same. I think the record has created a false sense of security, but it came about with a softer schedule. The playoffs resulted in another blowout loss.

Good?
Yes, good season. Certainly not great- and certainly no contentment with the results. No one feels it was a "moral victory". Only one saying that is you.
By the way- don't you have some tater tots to fry up for the boys down in the Highlands cafeteria? Getting close to lunch time.
