Hahaha. Yeah right, if no one showed up to the games and the KHSAA did not get money from it, they would not continue. Games while for the kids, are only to generate money by bringing in more fans.

As much as it would suck, the only way right now to fix it is just to hope no one shows up at the finals.

But in this "give everyone a trophy" liberal society, it is not fair unless every individual gets a state championship. Hell, let's move to 10 classes and have consolation games in Louisville the same weekend. That way there are 40 teams playing in December. And if your team isn't one of the 40, they can apply for a free trophy for participation that is equal in size to the championship, runner-up, 3rd place, and 4th place trophies.

You opinion isnt wanted here... Esp not about this setup or Ky football being the same ole teams. Trust me I am getting drilled for stating my opinion on another thread I started. Some people (probably fans of the ones winning all the time) dont want to change or hear it b/c the "setup" works for them and their school. Im all for going to back to 4 classes hell even 5. However get the private schools out of the public school classes. Im sure I will get drilled on this thread now. HOWEVER its my OPINION so they can $*** it!

I like people with thier own opinionit means they standout and become successful. and dont always go by the book because sometimes ( 90% ) it means something great happens like for example: electricity or some other invention that people are like wth is that guy doing. lol

chances are the games will be blowouts but I'm sure everyone thought Boyle will run over ACS last season but happened to be a very close game. People will still show up for the games. Glasgow, FS, and BG all being in the finals and all from the BG area will bring alot of people to the games. Your Mayfield, Highlands, Trinty, and Central will have they followers as well.

I can't all of 2 private schools in the finals. (Trinity and Holy Cross)
