What kind of Stupid Comment is that?????? This team does have trouble competing, but look at that Dist. they are in. Belfry, Sheldon Clark, Prestonsburg, Shelby Valley, Pike Co. Central. Have you not followed football the last couple of years? Did any of those teams not have a dominating team? Maybe Pike Co. Cent. but come on now. Before this District in Class 2A, they played in Class 3A with a dist. of Johnson Central, Greenup Co, Boyd Co., Rowan Co., not many slouches there was they? All you so called Football lovers pick and choose to much and are just like vulchers. Lets pick on the week one and ALWAYS make sure they feel like crap and can NEVER,EVER,EVER feel good enough to compete. I guess if your not around a program, you have full right to put them down anytime, everytime!!!!!!
BULL**** Go mess with some other team. MCHS might never have a dominate team, but there will always be some kids that will NEVER quit. No support from the administration, yes probably true. No support from the media, yes probably true, (especially some newspapers) but one thing is for sure, the true fans will always support so keep on dissing us. We have took it for a long time, so keep on showing your true colors!!!!!! YELLOW!!!

Confusederved: nice post voice!!! I agree with u completly. Magoffin may not have the best record but at least the kids are willin to get out there and play no matter what the condition is. If i remember right JC used to have a problem winning a couple seasons ago, but look at them now....things can change.

hopefully things WILL change!

Magoffin returns most of thier line minus one senior, return a QB, a RB, 2 Great FBs, most of the D line, some LBs, and a few specials team spots need to be filled, but will proably be filled nicely. Not to mention alot of talent from the middle school. Look out come next year Magoffin Might be able to compete.

ok the coach that went to FL was coach brown and he left the year we missed the playoffs by one game. He didnt leave because of bad records he left because the administrators dont support the program so dont say shit about him. And as for coach howard hey hats off to him he came into a program with no support not knowing much about the sport but he learned as the year progressed and i think coach howard will be a fine coach coach fugate sure knows what the hell hes doing that and you cant do much with 21 players on your team. so alot of this is not our the players fault maybe if the program was supported a little and boost the morale of the students things will turn around.

hopefully magoffin will be good with every line man last year execpt me being there first year of high shcool football they should do good and they have a lienman 2 fill my spot with a back feild like gibson davis and bradley and howard takign turns at full back they should be able 2 turn some heads but with a district like ours its always hard 2 win

Heard today from a friend that one of the young men that Coach Brown coached in the secondary at St. Cloud High School in Florida, was named the 3a Player of the Year in the State of Florida. Congrats to this young man and to Coach Brown for a fantastic job coaching him.

So how is Coach Brown doing? What is his title down there? I heard he was D-coordinator. Is this true? Is he in line for any Head coaching jobs down there?

According to a close friend of Coach Brown's, he is the Defensive Coordinator at St. Cloud high School. Apparently the Head Coach has left Saint Cloud for a much better job just down the road and wants Coach Brown to go with him. The administration at St. Cloud offered Coach Brown the job but he declined and is weighing his options right now. Apparently the school the former head coach is going to now has around 3000 kids and is very good. Will be interesting to see what happens.
