Paintsville, Perry Central, and Owsley County will play a 3-way scrimmage Tuesday, November 15th. A early look at what should be 3 good teams.

“Relax, all right? Don’t try to strike everybody out. Strikeouts are boring! Besides that, they’re fascist. Throw some ground balls – it’s more democratic.”

I'm not sure, I would say around 5:30 or 6:00. I will try to find the exact time. If anyone knows, please post.

The scrimmage went well. Paintsville/Perry was up and down game with Perry pressing all over the floor and they shot the 3 very well. Noble didn't start and only played about 6 minutes in the first half and about the same in the 2nd half. Perry looked very good, Rankin is so hard to stop inside and the guards Perry has play well together and look for each other very unselfish and Paintsville will be a pretty good team in the 15th as well.

Owsley/Perry was an exciting first half, I believe it was tied at the end of the 1st half. Owsley has a very good player in Wright and her supporting cast did just that, they helped her out by hitting a bunch of 3 pointers and played without making a lot of turnovers against a very good PCC press. The 2nd half Pcc turned it up and went out to a 20-1 lead. Owsley will be a tough out come the All A tourney.

Good luck to all 3 of these teams on their season and hope they can all make it through with no injuries.

This Saturday should be interesting matchup between PCC and Ashland Blazer to see were the teams stand going into the begin of the season.

I also heard they got a transfer from pike central whose a good 3 point shooter and works well with Wright, which will help there team out a lot especially in the all a classic.
