Well, of course Pike Co. doesn't want this to happen. If an overhaul happens that would mean that they don't get 50% of the Tourny field, like they do now. Everyone already knows how I feel about the 2 three team districts and the one 5 team district. 4 of the 6 make it and 2 of the 5 make it. Just NOT right. There does need to be a long over due change. BUT, LC moving south just doesn't make sense.

âRelax, all right? Donât try to strike everybody out. Strikeouts are boring! Besides that, theyâre fascist. Throw some ground balls â itâs more democratic.â

How can you say they are leaving the 57th because of competition? They won back to back district championships in basketball. Regional runner-up and semifinal also since they been in the 15th. They've won 3 baseball district championships and regional. Several tennis district and region championships. There girls soccer team just came off their first district championship and if I'm not mistaken the program is 3 years old. :please:

Changes need to be made. but not in this district. Paintsville, Johnson Central, Lawrence County, Magoffin County, and Sheldon Clark. There are 5 schools that hate each other. All of which are natural rivals. To put it as frank as possible the other districts should look into adding teams from the regions around us. But odds are the KHSAA will find a way to screw this all up.

Several years ago they sat out of playoff competition in football for a season, maybe two, so they could drop down in class. They are always on the move, a little fidgety. Perhaps they should try West Virginia next.
