They opened the season with a Win over Paintsville and then went to Paintsville and got beat. They have played some good basketball and have came up on the short end of the stick on five of them, but they have not played cup cake teams either here is the Teams they have faced records

Paintsville 3 - 1
Magoffin Co. 2 - 4
Johnson Central 6-2
East Ridge 3-1
Fairview 7-1

So they will get better with time, by the distric tournament they willbe right there.

So how has your school done so far.

JC is 6-2 has taken a few lumps this year 3 or 4 games with 20+ turnovers and losing to SF and SC. But they are doing better than I expected at this point in the season. They are improving each game, hopefully by the time the district rolls around they will know the system better.

I have been very very impressed with the playing of Lawrence Co. As the end of the season draws near, I can see them dominating the district. JC looks Ok, but Paintsville has sucked....SC looks good also, again, very impressed with the dawgs. Paintsville needs to work on their sloppyness, whats up?

Lawrence County as bad as I hate to say it will not have a quality basketball program year after year until we consistantly get shed of the thugs and troublemakers that seem to wind up on the floor year after year. Coach Anderson has already started to lay the law down on a couple of guys. We may suffer in the short term, but it has to be done if we are ever going to be taken seriously and gain respect.
