This was football game, not walking down the hallway of a school?
What does that have to do with game? Your pulling at straws. The kids were dealt with just as your coach and cheapshot player should be. I can't believe some of u all are taking up for them.:Sad04:

john chapmans lack of class blows my mind..
before the game on thursday the local newspaper went to pcc to get an interview about the game, and how coach haywood would have the opportunity to break the record against them.. he refused to speak to the writer/photographer, sending his assistant coach to tell them he didn't have time and had no comment.. including all the posts i have read on here about chapman and his antics has totally changed my opinion on pcc coaching staff and players.. the way chapman has come across in the last week makes me sick.. there is no place for that type of behavior in eastern kentucky high school football.. its a shame that pike county central directly reflects pike county in the media and on the field.. on our side of 119 we don't act like that, and sure in the heck don't condone that type of behavior..
enough of the politics..
congratulations coach haywood on 346.. well deserved i might add..
great game to the Belfry Pirates.. way to show class and sportsmanship when it isn't deserved..
now that the record has been captured and the talk about pcc finally getting a win over belfry this year (or should i say decade) has finally been laid to rest, lets get ready for Johnson Central and bust the playoffs wide open..
:worthy: JOSH DIXON YOUR A MONSTER!!

Sorry, it wasn't meant to make anyone feel better or worse, but I must have hit a nerve with you. I only spoke the truth, you can dish it out but you can't take it. And to say that I am a sad old man....LOL, try again, don't let the name fool ya. And pity, I don't need yours. Have your own party.
I am not defending Chapman personally, but I guess some would call him a coach, he's won several games up there and turned the program around. They've won a few more games than Phelps, and Betsy Layne, and they still working on getting Belfry....LOL. What I am trying to say is that they have a program that is being :haters:more competitive and some people just can't stand it, you know what I mean.....they're starting to run with the big dogs, give'm some credit.
Retread? Does that mean stuck with.....LOL?

Once again your post indicates just exactly what type of "smarts" you have. I put your arrogance right up there with Chapman. If you can't come into a thread and post a positive comment, why even bother? Myself and others on here need to completely ignore you and your posts, not reply what so ever to you and then maybe, just maybe you will quit acting like a total ass. And no, you have NOT personally pissed me off. I just think your rude ass comments need to be kept at your house and not on here where people are sharing, for the most part, meaningful comments and sending congratulations to Coach Haywood.

IMO Belfry's coach is a class act. Obviously one of the best coaches in Eastern Kentucky. He has fielded great teams year after year, some more talented than others. But overall, exceptional. Haywood most assuredly deserves his kudos.
I am a Sheldon Clark supporter and considered it fantastic when were able to best Belfry a couple times in the past two years. Unfortunately we were pummeled this year, but if Coach Haywood had wanted he could have beaten us much worse. As I mentioned earlier, he is a class act, and chose to hold the score down by letting the J Vs play later in the game.

Very good win for coach haywood # 347 is what the radio said.It was very bad what PCC did , not shaking hands with Belfry. Good luck to both teams in the playoffs.

You all need to keep this thread on topic and stop talking about ''whose better, whose worse'' Talk about the game, or it's closed!

Some of you Brlfry fans . The hell with it I am done with this thread. My IQ is dropping just reading this crap. Game over Belfry won. You know we could have got on here and said Haywood would have not got this if Dudley had not moved on. BUT WE DID NOT DO THAT.

Shut it Down.

Oldtimer3 kids fight all the time at most every school Belfry is no exception. If you cant call out the kid for the cheap shot he took on a player who was down and his helmet had came off you are in the same boat as Chapman and the kid who done it and the ref who let PCC get away with what they did all game. I said it an a early post YOU ARE COWARDS!!

Haywood's class would have stood out anywhere, but it was a sharp contrast where this game was played. He looked even taller and better.

My opinion of game.
1. Pcc is a very good football team and will cause problems for
Teams in the playoffs. Their qb is very accurate if he is protected,
But his recievers r better, imo.
2. Pcc needs blechers the view of the field is lacking.but I enjoyed the
Atmosphere.
3. Pcc played good defense but misderction was their downfall, they neeed to
To work on that.
4. I was very diappointed in belfrys pass d. Several times recievers got behind our safetys
And that is not a good thing. By having players going both ways for pcc
They were simply wore down by middle of 3rd which lead to their demise.
More later typin on phone and I really would like to talk about game.
5. As said before the offials were horrid for both teams.

Put all the bickering aside Congrats Belfry and Coach Haywood on this night we found out who is the better team and coach. Both teams are talanted and both will be tough outs in the playoffs.

Crossbones I agree with all points but remember It could be as much as half of PCC passing yards come off the check down to the back out of the backfield. I think some of those are drawn up that way but some were cause he had no one to throw to. Poor tackles let one Pcc touchdown happen and the last TD PCC scored was in the 4th after we started puting in 2nd string. The One TD was cause they beat the safety. Belfry had an inerception the first time they went deep, and if my memory is correct all but one deep ball was stopped. The screen play was what in my opinion Belfry had trouble with. Even that did not kill belfry but it was the best way PCC moved the ball:Shaking:.

Totally agree. I actually wanted to mention abouy the screen passes and poor tackling
Also. I'm typing from phone and hate doing that. Belfrys tackling was subpar imo. Very disappointing. Dixon ran great and was very impressed with is open field speed.

Red and White..
Fair account of most of what you said, however, there were several drops by Pugh on plays where the safety was clearly beaten. The one where Pugh hurt his ankle was a 6 point drop, but Crossbones was dead on in his post....The depth Belfry has this year will continue to be their biggest bonus. As for the screen out of the backfield....Most of those are by design with Pugh drawing the secondary back to create space..If you had the chance to see PCC last year Vs Tolisa, you would see that was the biggest play all night on their defense...I will give Belfry credit, they have a great team, and will go very deep in the playoffs, but really......................Everyone is playing for the state runner up award next to Louisville Central, Wales is awesome, and has speed even Ashlands mouth drops open to.. Good luck next week when JC comes to town, I would give Belfry a 2TD advantage next week...Good luck the rest of the year, and hope its injury free throughout, and maybe we will see you at Cam in about 1 month..

Red&White, Crossbones,
Glad to see you guys are talking football on here, The other crap can go on forever if everyone continues to trash talk..The real issue at hand is the game...With that have been said....Your teams adjustment at half-time was the difference in this game, Haywood, has always had a knack for making those needed adjustments...I guess PCC, and Ashland both had sucess stoping the sweeps to the outside with their speed, but that darn mis-direction has killed PCC all year with LC, and would have at SC, had their OL been strong enough to hold off PCC DL... For this victory Haywood deserved his 346 for the changes that were put into place...That my friend is how you win 346!

I agree. Having a fight at school is totally different than in a athletic event. School has NOTHING to do with a football game. I'm sure there were plenty of teachers and administrators that would have LOVED to run onto that field to stop the horrible calls those goof ball referee's were making but, the better team prevailed and brought home KY's winningest coach with them!
The kids on the field fought hard to earn what they got. Just wish some adults could do so with as much class as our Pirates did!

I wish I could have been in attendance at this game, but I was stuck out of town. From the sound of it, Boggs was VERY sharp early in the game. PCC seemed to really move the ball well against Belfry. If not for some turnovers, this game might have well turned into a shoot out.
Pike Central seemed to play stout defense at times, only to then to be gashed deep with a big run.
I think these teams were closer than the score indicated

Excuse me, but get your head out of your A$$. The post was direct toward you or Belfry. And you wanna talk about smarts. And as far as, a total ass, again look in the mirror, you'll see one now. Bite me!.......LOL
Yeah, your comments are very meaningful, what a joke. Now go get pissed off, now that you have a reason.
And it's obvious whose butt you have you nose in. As I stated I am not defending anyone and I could actually careless about Chapman or Haywood. Now don't go an pass out because I said that ok. I worship only one God, and he's not a pagan. Ye, get the drift yet.

If this is what you consider "stout" defense.... then yes, they played it all night! Not one hold call on PC and from film we watched, there was but one play that #51 was not holding. He isn't the only one either. Got plenty more where that came from!

^ That looks like a PCC offensive lineman man? I said defense.
I am a Belfry fan BTW -- with no son, cousin, blah blah on the team.. I simply rout for the team and call it the way I see it, or in this case heard it on the radio.
PCC's defense did play well at times, only to later over commit and get gashed with a big play.

No... 22 for Belfry plays tackle on D. 51 was on him all night long. Someone even mentioned in an earlier post that they thought he (51) was going to have to ask him to prom he held him so much. JSYK, 22 is SE on offense.

THEN you post a picture of a PCC offensive lineman holding Howie Dotson and call out the above comment????
That is a play of PCC on offense and Belfry on defense. What am I missing?

Pcc played very well imo. They were easily baited on misdirection plays as said earlier. I was impressed with their overall run d though. If not for being wore down it could have made a differance. They will b trouble for teams in the playoffs.
