See, this is my problem with you. You get on here and rant and rave about Fairview and how Raceland fans don't give them any credit, NEWSFLASH, go read my previous posts about this game, I clearly gave credit to Fairview and McPeek!! How bout you guys give Raceland's defense some credit, I'm sure it's the best Fairview has faced this season. Do I think Fairview is a legit powerhouse in class "A", nope!! Fairview beat Raceland in back to back games in 2003 and 2004 (that might be wrong, maybe it was three in a row, heck, I don't even know if the timeframe is correct), it was then that everyone said that Fairview had turned the corner and had Raceland's number. What happened next? Raceland recovered and went on to hand Fairview it's a$$ time and time again, Fairview also screwed over one of their own during this time to bring in the McPeeks and their pipeline. Could Fairview turn this into a 4 or 5 year streak? Possibly, but I seriously doubt it. I think Ivan McGlone's days at Russell are numbered and that probably makes McPeek's numbers (only one of them anyway and you know why) at Fairview numbered as he will more than likely be the next coach at Russell. Just my thoughts, I gave credit as I have before and I even typed it slowly so you could understand it.

Being serious for a minute. Russell's next coach, whenever Coach McGlone decides to retire, is probably on the Russell sidelines now. My guess is if he wants it, Gary Morris will be awarded the job.

Now to the actual game. Raceland played hard as did the Eagles. The Eagles made the plays and won the game, plain and simple. No excuses from my end. It is funny how fans on both sides get so negative towards each other on these boards... I am glad my son is out of school so I do not have to hear people talk on here about him and his teammates. Best of luck to both teams the rest of the year.

Lets see. The RAMS beat Lewis Co by a coulpe td's without two star players. Reed our best back/D-back and Beech our fastest receiver/D-back didn't play.
We have played our best defense against power running teams. Our coach knows the devil offense inside and out. He was part of it for years.
Russell gets beat by Lewis Co!!!!
I LIKE OUR CHANCES!
But first we have to get one or two back on the field from injuries. And take care of the tigers before we do in the devils. See you in RAMLAND in about two weeks. Should be a good one.
