If you would like to help with our Pre-Season Top 20 this season, PM me a top 20 list.

Feel free to list as many as you can, and have a list of honorable mention if needed. Maybe all you can think of is a Top 10. Just list 10 teams in no particular order that you feel are very good, but do not feel obligated to rank 20 teams.

I will take all the lists and use them to help me rank the final Top 20. Thanks for your help. Remember, last season our Top 25 and the coaches poll were almost identical! :yikes: We have very smart members. Keep up the good work, and here is hoping for another magical season.

Manual and PCC should be in the Top 5, probably in the Top 3. Rock should be in there since they are the defending state champs but I don't know they lost a lot to graduation

I'll try to put together a list and send it to you later. I think there are two clear favorites and after that it gets kinda difficult.

When does the season start? I am unsure. I will wait until about 10 days-2 weeks before the start of the season to offer time for discussion and to ensure that most transfers, coaching hires and/or fires, scrimmages, some practice time, and sadly, injuries (hopefully not, but they do happen)

So, for anyone reading this, there is still time to make a list or to add/change lists that have been submitted.

Okay thanks. November 28th is the first day of regular season games. I believe Magoffin County has their Maroon and White Night on the 11th of November ( Boys split up into two teams and play each other and girls do the same ). So I don't know if every team does this or not but if they do it will probably be before then I'm sure.

^ Lady Hornets are most people's pre-season pick to win the 15th. They only lost one Senior who was a good player but didn't even play the 2nd half of the season. Which possibly cost them a trip to Bowling Green last year. Her and her sister transfered from Estill Co. two years ago, she was a junior and her sister was was a senior. She blew out her knee in the first game of the season her junior year and was done for that season, then blew out her other knee I think ( may have been the same knee ) after only playing 9 games. Very sad the way her career went after the transfer because she was a great athlete. But nevertheless, they're gonna fun to watch for sure, and will be for the next several years. Very young team with a TON of talent.
