Sound asleep.

Fleming gives up way too many points to be #3. Greenup to the #3 spot.

Good young talent.....They will only improve as they mature

I'll take Burns and company over the "possibility" at Greenup.....Big question is will the internal turmoil once again cause them to implode.
#8
Burns is solid. Team doesn't guard well. I like what I saw out of our kids at GC this summer. So, I'll take them in the 3 hole.
#9
little different players this year...the kids that will be playing this year no how to play D
you can bet on that
#10
What young talent does Menifee County have?

THey lost a couple senior starters maybe 3 off last years team and their JV was one of the worst teams JV wise that I seen all year

Rose Hill as well, they lost Malloy & lindsey, the only two kids they had that could score in a gym by themselves, what do they have, did they get new kids in or something?

Fleming County will be very good but will miss Kindred & the other white kid I can't recall his name greater than most people see. They were very good at garbage baskets at the rim and post defending, they will have none of that this year. Greenup County would be my 2nd or 3rd team & fleming 4th.

Raceland lost a lot off last years team as well, they look awful high in those rankings. Other than those, the rankings look pretty spot on. in my opinion

I think this is a good one, the only thing I'd swap is East and West. Brown, Lawson and Stamper will be better than Robinson and Genung. Rose Hill returns the Wilhoit kid (good boy, I had some business dealings with his dad) who may lead the region in scoring because I don't think he'll have any help.

Greenup needs Darius to play well. He needs to take some of the scoring load also. He can get to the basket more than he does. We will be way more balanced if he can get close to a double/double average.

fleming co kids have played together for 8 years now... that will show up
I have been around basketball a long time and it takes a few years to build
a team back from what that greenup program has been through...This group of kids from fleming co. have played all over the country and they know how to win so don't sell them short.

Two years ago, RH's talent "relocated" a half mile east or a mile west.

Yes, Terry to Fairview & Gregg to Ashland, so basically they don't have much returning .
#17
Floyd still the head coach @ Raceland? I agree, though...they seem a bit high in those rankings.

If everyone who was at RH at one time or another had stayed, they'd look like this.

5-C.Gregg
4-M.Terry
3-A.Hunt
2-R.Whetsel
1-K.Bush

There would be your region favorite.
#19
1. Rowan County (2011 16th Region Champs)
2. Ashland (2011 16th Region Runner-up)
3-16 (You Pick Em)

Does everybody think Elliott County will be below a top 10 team this year?
#20
1. Ashland- if everybody is back
2. Rowan- lost Hunter (underated player in my book) Cross, (big
deal when they need to get the ball upcourt, especially the
press) and Goodpaster gave some good minutes when I saw him
3. Fleming- 3 seniors that were lost, only accounted for 10 ppg, someone will
step up
4. Greenup- lost much more Williams, Hampton and Stringfellow
