The next two weeks are the heart of the Mustangs season. This is as close to a must win from them as it can get. The playoffs are on the line for these two teams

I think that the mustangs played 4 quarters of hard nosed football last Friday when they easily could have just given up. Jesse Orth was under pressure the entire game...his first snap resulted in a sack as Martin and Birkenhauer converged in the blink of an eye seemingly untouched. Despite pressure he completed passes of 30 and 32 yards. Pressure and ball hawking led to a 21% pass interception rate but I don't see that happening this Friday. Brossart averaged 35 points per game coming into that game. If they learned from that painful experience then they should prevail in what may prove to be round one of their "playoffs" as well as Homecoming.

This might be a must win for both teams could be the decision maker for who goes to the playoffs and who don't. Who ever loses this game has to beat Newport who is playing better as of late.
