Trinity @ St. Xavier(Cincy) 9/16
#1
Two Nationally ranked powerhouses go at it? Who Wins?
#2
I can't see Cincinnati St. X putting up enough points to beat Trinity. Trinity wins by 2+ touchdowns 35-17. Trinity rocks!
#3
Trinity probably has the best offense in the country.

Rocks win, 31-17.

I'm not easily impressed and haven't been impressed with Trinity in the past. Especially after seeing them in 09. Right now, I'll take Trinity big against anyone, anywhere.

Trinity is a powerhouse football team. I seen St. x cincy play on Fox Sports Ohio this past week and they have a hoss of a running back in Conor Hundley. But I see Trinity rolling in this one.

I'd say this is the BIG test for Trinity. This will be the post mark as to how good they really are. I believe that they will win this game and if they do I won't be surprised to see them move up into the top 3 in the country. Good luck this week and I'll be trying to be kept up on this game for sure.

St. Xavier traditionally has one of the best defenses in the country, but it's not as strong as years past. With St.X using alot of energy to beat Colerain, I expect Trinity's explosive offense to move the ball on X fairly well.

Trinity- 35
St. X- 21

I really can't see anyone stopping Trinity on offense. They are just too fast.

Trinity-45
St. X- 21

This will be a great match-up. I believe that X will keep this close for a half, but the Rocks will adjust make this a lopsided victory in the 2nd half

Is this the best team Trinity will play this year? If not, who will be?

I don't know enough about the rest of the teams on the Rocks schedule, but this is defintely the best team they will have played so far this season

the biggest problem Trinity will have with St. X is the Bombers defensive scheme. X likes to twist and stunt their interior 6 plenty, usually with very fast and very aggressive defensive players. they wont try and power past Trinity's good o-line, but spread them out and attack the gaps. As long as Wright doesn't panic when a rush is closing in, then Trinity's offense should be fine.

offensively, St.X can move the ball. They have a big back in Conor Hundley, but their short passing game can be very effective early in the game if they catch the defense keying on Hundley. I think this will be Trinity's toughest game and if Wright struggles early, it'll be an X win. With all this being said, I take back my 1st post and I think this game will be very close
