Perry Central 35 - Prestonsburg 34
Aslan Wrote:Love how no P-burg fans have cared to acknowledge the facts.
I will acknowledge the facts.. If he is correct and this is the case than GOOD! I would like to believe that no one would be low enough to TAKE a game away from KIDS! Remember these are high school KIDS not pros. All we was going on is the fact when the time out was called the ref indicated Prestonsburg had taken it...heck even the guys on the Hazard radio station couldn't figure it out... But again if PCC had one left and the ref just got his since of direction messed up than I can totally understand that. Since that crew had to huddle to figure out every dang call they made that night it makes since why the white hat wouldn't have known where he was.

I kinda wished I would had stayed though to see the excitement of the Blackcats taking the lead on PCC.. But then again I would have been heartbroken to see the outcome with seconds winding down Sad

LOL....So you were cheering against your own high schools team? Your funny.

Thats crazy you did not know who was gonna win unless PCC had a 40 point lead and they didnt.............CRAZY
:please:

There isn't a single PCC fan that would claim Ballers as one of our faithful.
His allegiances lie across the county line :redboxer:

I believe it.

cause they cant stand the truth
Got to say - this is ONE advantage one gets at that -other- website. When something is requested nicely, someone usually takes time out from posting attacks/counter-attacks to provide it. That doesn't happen here on anything approaching a consistant basis.
One of the best games I have seen in years. Haddix made a great call on 4th and goal to win the game. This was a statement win for Haddix and PCC.

Maybe it's just that we're all done talking about it.

Every Prestonsburg fan was so hot headed after that game that we just had to get on here and voice our frustrations with questionable calls down the stretch.

On the timeout call, the official pointed toward Prestonsburg calling the timeout with 9 seconds or so left.

It was a disappointing loss, but one that everyone from Prestonsburg will live with because we're a 2A school who nearly beat a 5A school who was bigger, faster, and more athletic.

I'm done with this thread.

Blackcat's claiming a moral victory.
Everyone congratulate BCA on his "win".
MVP2 Wrote:Good Post. Those refs did act clueless at times, well for most of the night but they didnt make the out come of this game.

The two refs I knew in this one were, Brian Napier(head lineman) and Chris Sabo (Umpire)

I never like Napier as a ref. I have seen him call some of the worse games I have ever seen, but I have seen him call some of the best ball I have seen. He is a better umpire in baseball than a ref in any other sport. As far as basketball goes, I believe he favor some teams. That in my opinion is huge in the 14th region. I believe that there are ALOT of refs who favor schools, and make calls in their favor. He is a good guy, I just don't think he is a good ref. He should stick with what he is good at and be an umpire.

I was born and raised in Knott Co. of course..
Most of the time I don't cheer for PCC..
But every now and then (rarely) I will..
geauxtigers75 Wrote:LOL....So you were cheering against your own high schools team? Your funny.

Politics in the school systems have made me sour at some schools..
PCC being one of them...

Fwiw, I DO subscribe to the other site (and have for 7 yrs. running) to keep up with football in other areas - it's well worth $20 to me (and would pay it here, too, if asked). :notworthy

It's that there were obviously people who attended this game on this thread. Thought I could get some decent observations on how the game unfolded, but no one would take time out from arguing. :blabbermo:blabbermo

Chill bro...
just because we were at the game didn't mean we memorized the scoring summary.

Jamerson got hurt in the first half and didn't play the rest of the game. And as for Williams, I believe he had 2 td's.

I don't think there is ever a Perry Central thread that doesn't go on for pages and pages lol

Jamerson got hurt in the 2nd quarter and Williams caught a tochdown, rushed for a touchdown and threw for a touchdown.

:flush:
What happened to Jamerson? I've heard he might be better than his brother. His brother was one of my favorite players ever to play in Eastern KY at an opposing school. Always played hard, made plays + had class.

Joseph is good, but he is not Nick. Nick was a beast in high school, went on to have a good college career at Pikeville College (now University of Pikeville) and actually tried out at the Detroit Lions training camp.
Welcome to PCC.

I think everyone already knew that much.
Sorry, you have to donate to get the exact info on games you want.
