Russell County has a future 2012 Mr. Football candidate toting the rock for them, and his name is Nick Britt (#28). You heard it here first

He had two TD's last night on his first two carries of the game. Marion County tried making a comeback, cutting the game to 28-14 at one point.

Britt won't get the statewide recognition at RB this year because of being behind a great company of seniors that we have at RB across the state this year (Elliott at Ryle, Wales at Central, Jude at Johnson Central, Harness at John Hardin, etc).

Along with Mayfield's Jackson; Britt will the the other RB at the head of the class in 2012. If have a chance to go watch Russell County play this year, do it. The kid is phenominal.

Russell County beat a good Marion County squad last night. Robbins doesn't have the same amount of talent he's had at Marion the last 2-3 years, but the Knights are a very solid squad and Russell County took them to the shed last night.

These two might meet once again this year; in the 1st round of the playoffs ( Marion will finish 3rd more than likely behind 1) Boyle 2)Lex Cath and the 1-3 spots between Russell County, K.N.O.X and Rock is going to be a dog fight).

Yeah, I've heard a lot of good things about the Britt kid.
