LCA looked good get getting off the bus. Huge line and a flock of nifty skill players. But that was where it ended. Knox starters played 2.5 quarters. Barger and Canady connected easily and one of the best running backs in KY; Johnathon Gist got it done well.

Nice win to get Coach Russel what every new coach wants after their first game at a new job - and that is to be 1 and 0. Great job Coach.

Thanks. We were excited to see the team execute so well on offense. The riddle our offense poses this year hinges on multiple threats. Candady is the most dangerous player on the field no matter who we play. You have to account for him. But Juice, Gist, Evans, and either of our FB's all are excellent play makers in their own right.

Coach Russell did a great job of spreading the ball to all these weapons last night. Coach Napier called a great defensive game as well - upping the pressure with a more aggressive approach. Better teams will present a bigger challenge; but we took a big step forward.

LMAO---It is at least their 4th year--of Varsity--you can watch their highlites on youtube---They lost last week to the Private school State Champs from Louisanna 24-14---But if you come from outside of Nashville to little ole B-ville and get your @$$ handed to you then sure why not make excuses,,,,,:please:

I agree 100 % last year the play calls went well for the first series and then it seemed to stall out. It always had me wondering what the heck they were thinking! Friday night was the best offensive game i have seen called in the last 7 years. When we passed we slipped in the punch to the gut with Gist running the ball. After 3 or 4 big gains on the ground we would burn them in the air. I thought Coach Russel done an awesome job on the BIG O" I am looking for somebig games for the panthers. Any kid that is on this team can make the plays happen! With a little bit more work in the linebacker positions KC will be a tough team to handle. Good luck coach Russel and Staff!
