I really hope the cardinals can pull this one out, but I don't they will be able to so I'm gonna have to take Rockcastle in this one. Hope the cards can prove me wrong.

I was worried about replacing the O and D-line. From what I'm hearing they're looking pretty good. I hope it isn't the beginning of the year hype. I think we have the athletes at the skill positions. I think this year SC will have a lot of speed. Speed can do a lot on the field. I have to wait after the first game to see what SC has, but I'm taking the Cards by a touch down.

There was a lot of hype last year, and it certainly didn't help the Cards cause.
They finished last year with a 6 - 6 record. Although this year's team seems confidant, the hype isn't there. They have worked hard and expect success.

It's hard to pick a winner, since neither team has played a game this season. But I'm going to be totally and completely honest, deep down I think SC can come up with a win, but since I'm a SC fan, I tend to be slightly prejudice.

So we'll have to wait and see what happens early this evening. Good luck to both teams regarding a hard-fought, injury free game.

If you are talking hype among the team, I will buy it. Sheldon Clark has been picked as a Top 10 team in many polls, at least for 3A. Hype surrounds them. Maybe the players are level headed and that is fine, but there is hype from many outside the program.

Here's to a hard fought, injury free game. I love Friday niht games, but it's nice to have a Saturday game now and again.

At the scrimage SC looked good. Their line looks alot better than I thought they were going to be. However the 10 play series made them look alot better than a game would have. They had several bad snaps and handoffs that could easily translate into 5 or 6 turn overs. If they do that they will not win any tough games. I fear the center will have a hard time picking up the rush and making the snap. Him and the QB really looked like they need around 150 to 200 more snaps together. I hope they worked out the kinks this last week because once the ball got from the line to the qb to KP they look fantastic. The qb also has a good arm. If they limit turnovers SC by two tds. If they put the ball on the ground then they could lose by 3 tds.
