Arkansas' Knile Davis to miss season

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - The University of Arkansas says starting running back Knile Davis is expected to miss the season with an ankle injury.
The university said in a news release Friday that Davis suffered the injury during practice Thursday. Details of the injury were not disclosed.
Davis was injured early in the scrimmage portion of Thursday's practice and was carted off the field.
Davis led all Southeastern Conference running backs with 1,322 yards rushing last season He averaged 147 yards per game during the final seven games of the season.
He was a preseason second-team All-SEC choice and was on the watch list for the Doak Walker Award, Maxwell Award and Walter Camp Player of the Year Award.

That sucks for both Knile & Arkansas.
Really looked forward to seeing how good the Razorbacks could have been this season. They still have a lot of talent at the RB position.

yes they do,i will be listening at 4 central to the talk shows here in Arkansas to see what they say,i live 5 min from ASU, so i pull for them over the Razorbacks, but i am Kentucky and Belfry still my number 1's in college in high school,jonesboro high has good team and the number recruit in the state that commited to Clemson,wish some how i could get them incontact with PCB commitee and have them go over one year...
