Read an article today in the Ashland Independent that former Head Coach Mike Copley of Greenup County is now the Defensive Coach at Rowan County. I thought he was trying to get back to Pike County? It was a very good article, sounds like he is where he wants to be.

Coaches almost always make it sound like they are where they want to be. Then some take new jobs the next day.
That is just how it is.

The rumor was around Pikeville that he went to Ballard to be DC under Jackson. I guess that wasnt true....

Copley's strength program is the real deal, add that to what Rowan has returning, they could make a serious run at a state championship.

I think Greenup County is glad he left, I heard they are still clearing up some problems($$).
