Like I have told many of my Duke friends, wait until Coach K retires, then see what happens.

UNC's coach retired/passed-away and it took them a while to build back up. St. Johns was very mediocre for years after their legendary coach stepped aside. UNLV has done what after their great teams? You see how the story goes.

UK has had 4 coaches, (so far) win a National Championship, 5 have been to a Final 4.

I think most rational UK fans would acknowledge the stretch of basketball Duke has had in the past decade. In my opinion they are the team of the decade (2000s) and the only other team that may have a claim to that is UNC. Duke has solid teams year after year but as everyone has said, they know nothing outside of the winning ways of coach K. He will not be there forever but Duke will remain as one of the best traditions in college basketball because of him (as UK because of Rupp, etc.). The next person in line will tell alot as to how awesome this fanbase is.

I like that Cal calls them out. Ric Flair said it best "to be the man you gotta beat the man". I would love to see them do a home and home.......why would it be a bad thing. Going to Cameron and beating them would be sweet. I'm not like some people who think that crackerbox gym is intimidating. Duke does not play tough games out of conference. They are content to play UNC 2 a year and call that a tough schedule. One more reason to not respect them.

While we usually do not agree, I agree that a neutral court game would be best. Make it a local-neutral game (i.e Louisville one year, Charlotte one year)

I think that would be a great idea.... I think that a floor like somewhere in tn or virginia would be great too... Just to make a "neutral" floor...However we would have to consider the fan bases, the fans would have to travel all that distance for no reason though. I like the Louisville, charolotte idea though.
