Would be a great job. The Indians in recent years have gone to the regional tourney almost every year. It is in the 40th district with GRC, Bourbon Co and Paris, and 10th region. Omar Prewitt will just be a junior and the Indians will be one of the top teams in the 10th this coming year. They have a brand new gym and lots of adm. support. Believe the 10th regional tourney will be at Montgomery Co this coming year.
They have great fan support with the boys and girls teams.
Will be interesting to see who all applies and who winds up with this job.
Will they try and get a coach with head coaching experience? Will they promote one of thier assistant coaches?

Which assistant is it? Don't think they will go with one of the assistants, when head coaches are applying.
This could get interesting, no AD and a new Supper. Will Todd Wilson the Principal have the final say?

Heard they contacted him and he told them he wasn't interested. Same with Scott Hunley.

They hired a AD yesterday, from Union Co I have been told. Heard there were some high profile names that applied. Interviews this week, so we should know something soon. Best of luck to whoever they get...except when they play GRC....

Tony Wise from Frankfort will be a leading candidate.

If I were Montgomery I would go after another Scott County assistant. Tim Glenn is their JV coach and he does an excellent job. His JV team wins the State AAU tournament practically every year. And would be a great hire.
