How do I not know what I am talking about. I have known for a week that this was a good possibility. From what I have heard, he will just coach. He will not be teaching. But they are trying to get him to teach. If he does teach, ye I would be wrong because it will not be P.E., or science. But it will not be math or social studies. All I said was that if he does teach, it would not be social studies or math. From what I have heard they might make him the all day ISS teacher. Just what my sources at Cordia told me.
Trust me Tommy2, I know more about Cordia's coaching position than anybody on here, except for crazy horse. I knew this was a good possibility, and was rooting for it to happen.

Maybe I should throw out about 50 names next time and if one of them happens to get the job I'll act like I was all over it

All Wall2Wall said was they couldn't fire a teacher to bring in a coach they wanted. He said they would have to create him a teaching job, which they are. 90% of coaches across the state teach in the classroom, so Wall2Wall was more right then wrong because they are creating Rodrick Rhodes a position. All they got to do now is hire teachers to fill there teaching positions.
Just to show you all how close I am and what ties I have, I was one of the first 10 people that knew about this after he was officially hired. I was told to keep it quiet but looks like that wasn't meant to be. Congrats Cordia on an outstanding pick up. Cordia EASILY has the guards, they need the big men.

I have thrown out the least amount of names on here, as a matter of fact, everyone on here have been posting names more then I have. Every name I posted was just an opinion and to see what everyone thought about that person. I am close enough to this situation that I have been keeping quite really because I was told to and I promised.

lol, yeah you think your funny!!! I can't say too much because some of you know who I am but I don't want everyone to know who I am. But MVP2 and King360 can both tell you I know what I am talking about. No I haven't sit in on any interview, but I here everything right when it happens. The sitebase council are meeting tomorrow actually to officially hire him

Who cares who knew what? Regardless, great pickup for the 14th and the mountains!

He was also looking at Harlan and Owsley County. Cordia must have suited what he was looking for a little more than the others. A person close to the Owsley decision makers told me that his agent was doing most of the talking for him. I'm not sure I've ever heard of a potential coach that's applying for a $6,500 coaching position using an agent to negotiate. I know he's a former NBA player, but what's with that??
Will he hang around eastern Ky for very long? We'll see. Appalachia is a huge difference from where he grew up in New Jersey, or even the Bluegrass area when he played for UK. Entirely different enviroment and culture. It will take some getting used to on his part, but good luck to him and his family.

Good pick for the Lions, I wish Rhodes the best of luck. I hope he has a lot of success in Lotts Creek but if you dont have talent than you wont win.

The Pittsburgh Pirates are .500 after 66 games, the Free Candy van is out of candy, and Roderick Rhodes is coaching the Cordia Lions.
Yes, these are end times, friends. End times, indeed.

I am a little skeptical about the positive outcomes regarding this hire. If it doesn't work out, it will be another blow to a tiny school which cannot handle to many negative events. If it does, it will be great publicity for Cordia and the 14th region. I wish the Lions the best of luck.
