CARBONDALE - University of Kentucky recruit Josh Forrest scored two touchdowns off passes from two different quarterbacks and the Western Kentucky All-Stars held off a furious Southern Illinois All-Stars comeback to take a 14-12 win on Friday at Saluki Stadium.
Forrest's receptions of 59 and 83 yards gave the Western Kentucky All-Stars a 14-0 lead with 11:01 left in the game. Southern Illinois pulled within two on touchdowns from Carmi-White County's Logan Rogers and Nashville's Gannon Mamell, the latter with seven seconds left in the game, but Rogers' two-point conversion attempt was stuffed at the 5-yard line.

I wouldn't trade ya, atleast not for the moment. He has very successfully transitioned us from 3 yards and a cloud of dust, the programs trademark since the begining that won us many titles to air raid central. That took alot to do at Mayfield
