Do not count out Apollo. They might just have the easiest draw/path to the semis of any team up there. That might allow them to throw a #3 or #4 pitcher in the first game and save #1 and 2 depending on game results.

not counting them out but wouldnt it make more since to throw your number one first round so u can have them for championship game

Monday games could bring their ace back on Friday if he throws on Monday. Also, they considered the Thursday quarterfinals to be on Wednesday last year. This gave the opportunity for a team to throw a kid 3-5 innings in the Thursday quarters, and bring him back Friday. If you play a Monday game it seems more logical to me to bring your ace in the first round, and hope to get by the second, and then come back with your gun again in the semi's. Once you get to Saturday night anything can happen.

It's a Tough Choice.

Lexington Catholic (30-6)

Pleasure Ridge Park (29-7)

St. X (26-10)

I'm gonna go with PRP

Probably C.H. or perhaps PRP for sure.

Throws in the 90's, better than Mullins of Bourbon.

The NCC/Lawrence game will have a match-up of tow of the hardest throwers in the State. Jake Cain is a dominate hard thrower as is Chandler Shepard.
#16
NCC could figure into the mix. Very solid pitching and a strong offense. The Cain/Shepard match-up will make for a great first round game.

Very solid team and well coached. Very capable of winning it all.

The PRP/ Lex Cath should be an awesome game, but I will be covering the Lawrence/ Newport Catholic game.
