if we are talking about michael stephens, he's not over-rated at all. like petey said, if anything, he's under-rated. he can play with anyone in the region. he brings himself up to the other players level and IMO thats what makes him so good. He may not be the best shooter, but point guards aren't really known for shooting (although, in the 15th thats a diff. story!) He's got awesome defense in which a guard should have (you know guard.. they guard something) not a lot of guards in the region have defense like they should, but they can shoot the lights out and IMO it needs to be balanced because Offense sells the tickets and the Defense wins the game.

Dude, I've never even heard of brad ratliff, pat stapelton, tyler whitaker, robert gannon, or jarrod crum.. do any of these people start? and if they're better than him why don't I know who they are?

I think Michael Stephens is a good ball player. Hes underrated I think. He just don't get as much recognition because instead of haveing 20+ points a game he gets his teammates involved. Hes probaby top 6 or 7. in the region no doubt. My top 7 would be Landon Slone, Jamie McCarty, Ryan Johnson, Ethan Johnson, Brad Lowe, Jaryd Crum, Michael Stephens. In no order.

Not sure who Thacker is or Stapleton. Crum from SC is a soph who started pg every game as a freshmen and 5 or 6 games as an 8th grader, he was all an all district performer last season and the best ball handler in the region hands down. Gannon started pg for Phelps last year and averaged double figures he is a very good player. Ratliff and Whitaker start at pg for Pike Central and Johnson Central. Ratliff is a very good ball handler and Whitaker is one of the better defenders in the region.

I dont think Brad lowe is a guard because last night at the ER and PC game he was either center on power foward..

I agree on the Maynard kid, but i think everyone has forgotten Jeremy Jackson from svhs, he is a defensive stopper
