Updated Coaching Openings and Filled Positions
Edit Note: I couldn't figure out how to edit my last post and realized maybe I am actually unable to because I am not yet a full member. So I just quoted myself to get the information again. Thanks to you guys for filling in the info. And also, I realized Ballard Memorial has not yet been filled so I changed that as well. What about Bullitt East? Now that I think about it, I haven't seen it anywhere. The other blanks ones I have seen, I just can't recall or find who they are (now just Campbell County, Fairdale, and Fern Creek).

If my calculations are correct there has been 32 jobs turned over this year. That is nearly 20% of the state, Wow

Sign of things to come IMO. Until these a good amount of these high schools decide to put their money where their mouths are, and get serious about having a program, coaches will continually either 1) Move onto other programs that care more and/or 2) get out of coaching altogether. There seems to be too much importance and expectations, yet very little support given to help reach the expectations.
You can all, but for sure add a couple more to the list, b/c every year there are jobs that come open late right around the end of school and even over summer break.
Updated Coaching Openings and Filled Positions
Update: 29 confirmed coaching positions have been filled. That leaves 4 remaining open, as I realized that Christian Academy of Louisville is also in the midst of a coaching turnover.

(also -- How do I edit my posts? I didn't want to keep making new posts to update this stuff but I haven't figured out how to edit. Thanks)

Yes, that is quite a bit of turnover. I am originally from Indiana and this has been my first offseason in Kentucky. We'd usually average 30-50 in an offseason, but we have at least 100 more teams. Is this an average year for Kentucky, or a little high?

Good points. Such is the nature of the beast.

Also a valid point. It does usually happen.
When did Christian Academy of Louisville come open? Intersting.

It was posted on their website on March 15. Dryden left to take a position in Tennessee where he was from.

Tenn High School??
Wow no one is talking about this one (CAL). I would think it would be a highly sought after job.
Lloyd hired former Holmes ***'t Stratton
Brother Xavier Wrote:Wow no one is talking about this one (CAL). I would think it would be a highly sought after job.

Yeah, I agree. That's what makes me think it's an inside job.

Stardust Wrote:Tenn High School??

Yes, but I don't know specifically, I just read it in an article.

Shoulderblock73 Wrote:Lloyd hired former Holmes ***'t Stratton

What is the first name? I'll add it to the list.
Josh Stratton
