Buckhorn jumped out to the 25 - 10 lead at the end of the first and held on after that. Breathitt cut the lead to 8 in the 4th, but couldn't get any close. Justin Hollon led Breathitt with 18 and Buckhorn was led by Andy Blank and Justin Rice with 15 apiece and Zach Gay with 14 pts , 13 rebounds and 7 blocked shots.

To answer your question there is nothing wrong with Breathitt Co this year, they simply have a very young team and are off to a rocky start of a rebuilding year. They lost to an excellent Hazard team and fought well against Buckhorn and they will never give up. But at 4-1, I firmly believe that the Wildcats have an excellent season ahead and will shake things up a bit in the 14th.
