Brandon Knight Wins The Game For The Cats With A Layup With 2 Seconds left

Cats Move On To Face West Virginia in the Round of 32

I will NEVER criticize JH ever again!

Nice shot by Knight. His only basket of the game. Princeton is one of those teams that always gives teams fits because of their style of play.

we can all start to breath agian. It was ugly, but we get to move on. I do not agree with Knight taking the last shot with as cold as he was, but it worked and hopefully gives him confidence agianst WVU, because we can't win without production from him.

Shew, I'm glad this one is over and we got the W. Congrats Cats!

Every win in the NCAA Tournament is a big one. I am not confident at all about the WVU game. Huggy Bear has Cal's number.

The Cats have a long road ahead. WVU, (possibly Ohio State), (possibly UNC), (possibly Duke), (possibly Kansas)

One game at a time.

Great job by the Kentucky vets!
Whilt the Freshman were busy choking in their first NCAA game the other big 3 were packing the team.
Great games buy JH, Liggins, and Miller.

Kentucky came out flat and lax. Princeton played their game plan to perfection. Slowing the tempo was the only chance they had and it almost paid off.

I didn't get to watch the game. So I have no input to add about this game.

Actually, UK didn't come out flat, they started the game like a house on fire, hitting almost everything they shot. UK raced out to an 13-4 lead six minutes into the game, and I thought (hoped?) they were going to run away with it. But the Cats went cold from there, only scoring 7 points over the next eight minutes, letting Princeton tie the game up and eventually take the lead. From that point on, UK never led by more than 5.

I guess you could say that it's good to be able to win a game when your point guard and leading scorer shoots like crap most of the day. But Knight had better get things straightened out before Saturday if UK is to have any chance of beating WVU.

Ditto. No way Knight ever plays that poorly again

What a fight put up by Princeton.

Princeton really hit a lot of tough shots..
Knight had a bad game..
T Jones made a few shots.. Not playing to his full potential..
It's like UK is doing a backflip... I thought Vargas gave very good minutes while he was on the court.
If we can have this production from the Vets along with the production we have had from our Frosh then it will be hard beating the Cats.. and that goes for any team.

There was a lot that was put into this game that is probably not seen by the untrained eye.
Miller getting no props!? Wow.. Anyways.. Way to go UK, let's go take the neer's head off! I don't want a 2-3 point win.. I want a 20 point win.
