Michael Jordan comeback at 50?
#1
I know this might be crazy(and it might be possible), but I had to post this.

Skip Bayless tweets:

I've said as MJ approaches 50, he'll think seriously about playing again. Now he's testing water. Laugh if u want. He just might try.

I know MJ. This is greatest athlete of 20th Century & golf never quite scratched his itch. Still wants to do the impossible.

Don't do it MJ, PLEASE don't do it! I was so hopeful of the great athletes not embarassing themselves again. Now guys just play into their 40's. The era of guys retiring and coming back seemed to have ended.

If he does he will probably go to Charlette. But I and the whole sports world will be shocked if this happens. But you never know!

I dont see it happening, but it'd still be interesting to see how he fairs.
#5
Like they said on PTI today, yeah he thinks about it but he won't do it.

I would love to see MJ pull of the impossible. But if anyone on this earth can do this at his age, it's Michael Jordan.

Really? I'm sorry, but a 50 year old body just could not play at the level of a 24 year-old. It would be embarrassing and would put a black mark on his career. The most beloved athlete of all-time, Ali tried this. The words from everyone was the same back then, people just wanted to see their hero or someone that they never had the privilege to see before. It was a sad site to see a shell of an athlete.

If MJ came back, people are going to expect to see the guy who put up 30 per game and mock his 8. They will want to see the former all defensive player throughout his career, but instead he will be blown by from "kids" half his age. I pray that he does not tarnish the image of the greatest basketball player of my time. People will say it won't tarnish, but it will. It's been 10 years. Sorry, that's not possible!

lol

If Jordan did try to make another comeback I would think no less of the man.
I would honestly respect him more for trying to do it again.
He knows he wouldn't drop 30 a game and he wouldn't expect it out of himself.
I thought no less of Jerry Rice when he was scrambling to make a team his final few years.
