University Heights 49 - Hazard 43 (All "A" Classic-1st round)
#1
Hazard trailed by 4 at the half. Sorry no linescore is posted anywhere that I've seen. Hazard had chances. They were behind 10 and cut it to 4 and had the ball late in the game. I did manage to get Hazard's scoring from radio but only the leading scorer for University Heights.
2nd half free throws were a problem for Hazard. They made 13-25 for the day and also 2-12 on three point shots.
I'll try to get a complete linescore.
For University Heights-McGowan had 17 points.
I do have Hazard's scoring:
B.J. Combs had 11 points
Eric Back-8 points
Kyle Spencer-7 points
Zach Blanton-6 points
John Combs-5 points
Jordan Olinger-3 points
Hunter Hardy-3 points
.Hazard is 13-7
They were playing the second highest rated team in the tournament.
University Heights will likely meet Newport Central Catholic in the second round-the highest rated All A team at 21st statewide.

UHA is a tough game right out of the gate. Hazard will bounce back.
