Cream What? Maybe that powdery crap you put in bad coffee.. It was Pikeville at Pikeville, during Senior Night, without our best player. At one time pikeville played for two minutes with 7 on the floor. I say 7 but it was actually just 6 players but you have to count the older ref in this one. The Miles guy was told by the fans and the coaching staff but still he ignored the extra player for a minute. He aslo ignored offensive fouls, walks, and moving screens, well for pikeville anyway! Roll Tribe!!!!!! Every game is just practice until tournament time and by then we will have Justice back and all the white shirts, bad refs, and home court advantage in the world wont save you!!

Taylor has a crazy ability to be so undersized and get rebounds. He fills a huge need when Layne has to sit.

I couldn't be prouder of the way Taylor has handled himself. He knows his role and is the first one off the bench to clap for a teammate. A lot of players who are stars in the two other sports couldn't handle this role and he has embraced it very well. Hopefully the young players can see how he is acting and carry it on next year.

The only thing that I discouraged is the name calling -- and identifying the specific student in which someone is referring to. Everyone has an opinion and everyone was the right to respectfully voice his/her opinion. I have never made a degrading remark concerning a specific adult or child. I don't know who makes these post. I'm not saying that ER could beat Pikeville with Justice but I will go out on a limb and say that both games would have been alot closer and the outcome could have very well been different if he had played. He is for sure ER's best player and when he is on his game he makes everyone on his team much better. So to say ER couldn't have beat Pikeville with Justice playing anyway is a little far fetched to me. I hope that he is able to play at district time and if so all these questions will be answered.:Thumbs:

Are you really going to go there? You are probably the most clueless poster I've seen in this thread. Also, I want to point to be "back" you have to "come back." Since East Ridge has been open their all time record as of this day is 137-103 while Pikeville is 127-120. The all time record against each other is 13-10 Pikeville. Since 2002 Pikeville has 1 59th District Title, while East Ridge has 2. East Ridge also has 1 15th Region Crown, while Pikeville has 0. As far as I'm concerned Pikeville hasn't been gone...just less worse. Also "Roll Tribe" sounds better then "We're Back"....Just Sayin...

Once again you prove you are clueless. If you are gonna try to come on here and bad-mouth Pikeville, which seems to be your life's goal, at least bring some facts to me.

Pikeville Basketball State Tournament appearances: 14

Nice try. For a school with such basketball tradition vs. poor tradition that is interesting.

So, in the last 10 years, Valley has been to more state tournaments than 14? They must have been super crazy good.

In the last 20 years, Pikeville has won the Regional tournament in baseball 8 times or 40% of the time. Fairly successful. I will give the edge to Paintsville all-time, but that does not diminish the success the baseball program has had. Once again, good try.

Football? Yes, Belfry has owned the new century. But they are a Class AAA school. They should. Pikeville also dominates their district every year, it's terriblle, but they can;t help that. they do what they have to do. The emergence of Hazard has hurt Pikeville lately. But still, there have been a few bad years but the program is still largely successful. The days of state championships may very well be over, but realistically, baseball and basketball don't have those expectations either. It still remains, Pikeville 3 state championships. Belfry 2. Pikeville has 3 runner-ups to Belfry's 5. Historically speaking, it is fairly even. And even if Belfry gets the nod, It is still top 4-5 in the area.

Pikeville also has been successful in golf recently winning 4 of 5 regional tournaments. Paintsville still is king historically.

Academics are insane. They won 8(?) consecutive All 'A' state championships coupled with multiple Governor's Cup Championship.

If we want to get into success of the school as a whole, Cheerleading is among one of the top programs in the state. Mentioned along with Greenup, Dunbar, etc... Ridiculous amounts of Regional Championships. Multiple State Championships, Multiple National championships.


For a Class A school in Eastern Kentucky, that is pretty good. So, we have plenty to be proud of and celebrate. Pikeville may not be the king in this area of any one thing, but that doesn't change the fact that there is a tradition and some of the alumni are glad to support the Panthers no matter what.

With all of that said, keep it rolling and
