Looks good to me. Paintsville has fallen on hard times with injuries. Van Hoose should be back next week (maybe Friday night).

In all seriousness how can anybody put South Floyd at #1? They have lost 5 games in the region to Shelby Valley's 1 region loss

They lost to Magoffin County, and have lost to Betsy Layne 2 out of 3 times before barly sqeaking by them last night....

Their largest margin of Victory in the 15th region is 4 points!!!! 4 POINTS!!!!

They are not exactly winning these region games in convincing fashion....They don't even have the best record in their district!!

looks to me like valley is just upset becasue south floyd took out the cardinals when they couldt get the job done themselves :oops:

I dont really get into the rating of the reason for many reasons.
However I will make a comment, I can understand how some could move the SF team up in the ratings with them winning the ALL A. And the other so called "powers" flopping. Each person is entitled to their opinion which they will give and often they wear their feelings on the sleaves, just as it is apparent that some people have a difficult time accepting certain team s not winning everything.

The wealth in the 15th region will be shared because of one simple thing there is no clear cut number one.
Sometimes it's not how many losses a team has but when it gets them.

Listen, if there is anyone that hates Valley it would be me. But it doesn't take common sense to figure out that SV is the #1 team in the region. They have lost one game, and for those who think a team who has lost 13 games should be number one is absolutely out of their mind. Yeah that's all you hit hat crazies. SF is #5 at best in the region.

Going by Win/Loss record, Here is my Top 10 :

1. Shelby Valley.............(18-4)
2. Belfry........................(12-5)
3. East Ridge..................(14-7)
4. Johnson Central..........(13-7)
5. Phelps........................(12-7)
6. Pike Central................(13-8]
7. Betsy Layne................(11-8]
8. Prestonsburg...............(9-8]
9. Paintsville....................(10-12)
10. South Floyd................(12-13)

I really don't see how anyone can put SF or Paintsville (both with double-digits in the loss column) at the top and Belfry (12-5) at the bottom...Where's the logic ?

Idk about Belfry and PC though they could go either way SF proved themselves in the ALL A but Regional Tourny is a totaly diffrent atmosphere.

South Floyd proved they were a good team in the All "A" but they arent as good as Valley. Valley is more athletic, talented, and have more depth. They lost one game in the region. Everyone loses ocassionally.

Paintsville could move up if all their players are healthy.

What is your problem? Nobody is bragging about Shelby Valley, they're just stating the simple truth that SV is the best team in the region and South Floyd isn't....Quit getting so torn up over nothing...

Dont tell me what to do.....I get tired of noone giving SF credit.....I can say as I please and do as I please on this board....I think that Valley is overrated, yes they are number 1 in this region but it will be just like last year 1 and out...

Thanks Leaf, Yes that was a hard one to make. I just picked whoever had the most wins so far. But, both teams are playing well.

Basketballer, people are giving South Floyd credit but just because they won All "A" automatically makes them so great. There a good team but not the best in the region. I mean come on they beat Betsy Lane by 1.

Im not from Valley but facts are facts. They have the best record in the region and have the most talent in the region.
