What a stupid statement. Everybody was giving Les the credit for the win against Paintsville last week.

Why isn't everybody blaming the loss tonight on Les . I guess he only gets credit for the wins, and Coach Anderson gets the credit for the losses. I can assure you that I would be more than happy to see him go back to Johnson Centreal, or anywhere else for that matter.

"DTA" Wrote:Trimble was screwed. He was a good guy that had players take advantage of his kindness which trickled down to parents pushing him out. Happens all the time in the 15th with the exception of Coach Martin and BMR.

From what I hear Bill Mike is the worlds worse for letting some parents rule the roost. I hear rumors that Momma Slone ain't real happy about a lot of things and has threatened to take baby boy back to Floyd County if baby boy ain't the **** of the walk.

I hope that JCHS picks it up because if not it could spell trouble for them. Say what you may about Les Trimble but he is a class act. I know what happened at JCHS and I know what happened on the inside and many may be surprized if they really knew the truth.

Fact is that JCHS is now 1-2. Can they rebound? I hope so

I'm guessing that you are another one of those 553 experts that has all of the inside information.:lmao:

Good win for Sheldon Clark, making them a strong region contender. Without a doubt this is the strongest district in the 15th, too bad that two of the stronger teams in the 15th will be a home come regional tournament time.

Ouch...

Golden Swarm has been a flop early in the season...gotta wonder with the total lack of defense and several flashes of unsportsmanlike behavior by JC, is Starnes in over his head? Add in the fact he's not a local and has virtually no local ties, could he be the Bruce Humphrey of the roundball court at JC?

Great attempt at a camouflage coverup, Joe.:bounce:

Anybody Got Any Final Stats On The JC Players?

The Eagles Didnt Quit The Entire Game...They Played Hard...Seemed Like Everytime We'd Get A Good Run Going Though It Would Be Stopped By A Dumb Foul...Congrats To The Cards And Keep Your Heads Up Eagles!

JohnsonCountyJoe you have made the only statement that me be true, the way they did Coach Humphries is the same way the did Less Trimble. I have had the pleasure to know both Coach Trimble and Coach Humphries, and they are a class act.

What I was saying is that maybe Starnes will be a one and done guy...

I think that talking about getting rid of a guy after three games is ridiculous. Maybe after the season then it would be logical but after three games against three very decent teams and two of them on the road is ridiculous. I don't know the guy and have never talked to him but I like his style on making the kids earn playing time. They can't just play and do whatever they want. It is his way or you will ride the pine. I don't like the statement is that they never gave Les a chance. I think they gave him more than he deserved. If we would have had starns last year with the talent we had then we would have been in Rupp or the problem kids would have been on the pine or walking the halls. So don't say that Les didn't have a chance. People that is not part of the program do not understand the problems that his teams had. I just wish Les would have been able to control his players and we would not be having this conversation. I will support whoever is on the sidelines and will give them every chance to prove themselves. Until then quit bashing a coach after three tough games early in the season. When McCarty gets healthy and the kids start believing in the system then things will change.

Since Coach Starns has arrived at Johnson Central I like him the fast pace game he brings. Although it may have hurt us producing 20 turnovers this evening at East Carter. One thing is for sure unlike Coach Trimble, Starns has installed a system of discipline at Johnson Central. If Starns were here last year Johnson Central would have contended for the regional title. Coach Trimble tolerated too much from the seniors where as Coach Starns will not. Johnson Central had plenty of talent on the bench last season but they took a back seat to the seniors. They still have a deep bench this season and I think Starns could utilize it a little more. Players like Jessie Meek and Justin Blanton could be more productive with more playing time. People on this site and another continue to bash the new coach, but would not do so if it were their coach. I just hope Johnson Central will give Coach Starns more time to adjust. Once McCarty becomes full strength, things will be brighter for the Eagles as long as he doesn't take 75% of the shots.

Johnson Central will be fine.

good win for SC..
i think the fans got into some of the JC players heads that night..meeks in particular..
he had a horrible night..so did number 3 whoever he was.
kyle rice played hard, but he just didnt seem to have it either..
when JC got down, they were frustrated and werent focused anymore. SC played a great game though, props to them..
