Letcher Central played well but sad news also came out of the game. In the first quarter, leading scorer Kelah Eldridge went down with a knee injury. An MRI was done today and it was determined that she has a torn ACL and will be out for the rest of the season. The other players did step up and played well without her. The Lady Cougars took a big hit just when they were starting to play well. This will give a chance to other players to step up and play well.

I am so sadden by that injury to Kelah. She is such a hard worker. She will fight hard to come back 100%.LCC must find players to step up their games to fill the void.

The most teamwork the Lady Cougars have shown all year--if they continue to play that way then they would have a chance to become runner-up to a strong Perry county Central squad who no one will touch until the State Tournament!!!
