I don't like that TOP 10 at all....

I'm from Hazard and I wouldn't put them #3, not playing ball yet. Perry should be in the top 3 and Betsy Lane is a pretty good ball team as well.

I struggled with this one a lot.
The top teams dropped games and it made it a rough list.
Hazard dropped some games to some west coast teams that we don't know a lot about and Eric Back got hurt in the process while everyone above them dropped games as well.
Betsy Layne is a good team, but they've lost 3 out of the last 4(to good teams) and I didn't think a 5-3 record really deserved a top 10 spot at this point in the season.
They have a chance to play into the top 10 on wednesday.
IMO Perry just hasn't proved anything yet.
They don't have a signature win yet and they had a rough start to the season.
The Mountain Classic will give us a much better picture of what the food chain looks like in mountain basketball.

I agree with you zaga fan. Johnson Central just lost their best player and got beat by Pikeville. Bell hasnt beat anyone worth talking about and neither has Hazard or PCC. The only 2 teams on here with GOOD wins is Buckhorn(#11 Henry Clay) and Knott County(#9 Bullit East.) This list is really bad in my opinion. We will know alot more about saturday night at 10 PM.

JC isnt #1 without Parker........Not sold on Harlan Co, no big wins...I agree after sat night, should have a better picture.

It's hard to make list with all of the bad losses going on.
JC will not be the team they were and the way Clay is playing, they could get upset in the district tourney and not even make it to the region.
I would have to go with Bell right now. They got a late start, we should know more.
