WOW! The Giants blew a 28 point lead if I'm not mistaken.

^it was a 21 pt lead with a little over 8 mins to go.

This was disgraceful.
Tom Coughlin running onto the field and cussing the punter out was pretty funny lol

^My bad. I didn't get to watch it. I just went by what my buddies had told me.

It's all good
Either way it goes.
The Eagles scored 28 unanswered in less than 9 minutes
That's almost the football equivalent of Reggie Miller scoring 8 pts in 9 seconds lol

What I don't understand, is Coughlin was screaming down the punters throat after Jackson ran that punt back. But the punter would have never kicked the ball in bounds if Coughlin specifically said, ''punt it out of bounds.'' I know the punters in the NFL. But your coach should still have let him know to kick the ball out of bounds. Coughlin may have told him to kick it out of bounds, IDK. But I wrote this taking that Coughlin didn't tell him to kick it out of bounds.

So it was the punters fault for giving up 21 points? It was a team choke job.
#7
^No, but Coughlin didn't rush onto the field and scream at the rest of the team. He screamed at the Punter after the Jackson run back.

i was agreeing with you. the punter was not responsible for all those points. Even on the punt return 10 other guys blew their coverage.

The whole thing about the punter was that they were specifically told to punt out of bounds.
I understand why this was ran back, because this was really a busted play from the get-go.

A high snap, a punt that shouldn't have been fielded, and then the punt was muffed...

The muff is what actually caused the TD IMO.

When the coverage team is lining him up and he drops it they have to hesitate for a second.
While they hesitate, the blockers(who don't see the drop), they got blocked out of the play and one of the most dynamic returners in the game has a wide open gap.

But like benchwarmer said.....
the 21 pts before that shouldn't have happened anyway.

 10 other guys could have made a tackle on the punt as well.

Only got to see the last play, which was the punt and the best. Anyone else see that Giants play get absolutely blown up on the punt return? Made my butt pucker...

The punter was told specificly to punt it out of bounds so he has to take so of the blame. But anyways, it's always nice to see the Mannings lose.

The punter said after the game that he got a high snap and he was just trying to get the punt downfield before it got blocked.

At that point he would probably have been better off to let them block it and take the chance of recovering it and letting time run down even more.

KEEP IT OUT OF DESEAN JACKSONS HANDS!!!!!!

I still think he should have just ran to the side and kicked a line-drive.

I never think it's better to have the kick blocked......
but hindsight is 20/20 lol

Exactly what I thought. Just think of all of the things going through his head though. It'd be tough to just do that on the fly without thinking about it. But yeah, first thing I thought when I watched it.

I bet next time he's in a situation even close to that he'll put it in the stands..

that was deossie their long snapper getting jacked by avant the 3rd WR. avant actually got a "slight" concussion on the play.

the sad thing is i thought the giants had it in the bag and left for work chalking it up as a loss. then get to work in time to follow it on the internet. great win though by the eagles.
