Sheldon (Calif.) 84, Warren Central 62, final: Huskies advance to face the Jeffersontown-Pearl (Miss.) winner in Monday’s 6 p.m. quarterfinal. Darius Nelson (19 points, seven rebounds), D’erryl Williams (18 points, six rebounds) and Kyi Thomas (17 points, seven rebounds, four steals) led Sheldon. George Fant had 25 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Dragons. Jordan Shanklin added 21 points but also committed seven turnovers.

Looks like Sheldon controlled the boards and anytime your best guard gives the ball away as much as Shanklin did, then you're never going win.

I hope the Dragons can bounce back.
