What cause did this tournament support and what are the results of the games?

The tournament format was changed from double elimination to pool play and a single elimination tournament after Martha Jane Potter and Letcher cancelled this morning due to weather.

*Quarterfinals and 1 semifinal will be played on Monday.
*The other semifinal, consolation, and championship will be played on Tuesday.

*I'm pretty sure the tournament was played in honor of Kyle Smith. I'm sure Coach Swindall will post more on here when he sees this.

This tournament was originally designed to honor Kyle however to avoid leaving anyone out and also honor others who have experienced the same hardship. An account will be set up at the school to assist future cases and needs of students attending Elkhorn City Elementary for expenses not covered by their insurances. I would like to take this time and say that I appreciate anyone who chose to attend and support the tournament. This tournament was not intended to embarrass any particular family or any organization affiliated with Kyle. We all loved him dearly as well as the others who have attended our school. I can honestly say that this cause is needed at all schools and I am sure that money donated by this tournament will be used under the supervision of the faculty of Elkhorn City Elementary to assist future students for emergency expenses.
