RUMOR!! Sani's mom lives in Pittsburg and he is going to visit her while on Christmas vacation.... Other than that, he will be at Belfry as always....

Maybe he was talking about transferring a vehicle or something. I knew he had family in Pittsburgh.

A lot of people are starting "rumors" concerning this young man and a couple more kids. This isn't the first thing that has been posted. It was just left up longer than the other things and evidently you saw it? BUT, I have checked, it was false information and Sani is not going anywhere, anytime soon! Smile

BTW, I was not implying that you personally had started this rumor, I was just stating that there ARE others who are posting information, making statements, and spreading rumors about him (and others) that is false... Although you said you found it on his facebook, he is a friend on my page and I get feeds thru his wall. I saw nothing like that on mine so it couldn't have been up too long.... The way I'm figuring, one of the others gained his password (which he did change BTW) and posted on his page without his knowledge...

Another solid schedule for the Pirates will put them where they need to be Belfry has alot coming back and the best bunch of under classmen they had in a long time it looks good for football on Pond Creek GOOD LUCK PIRATES IN 2011!!!!!!!!!!!!

No one has mentioned, do you think the Pirates stick with the flexbone option offense or return to the wishbone option offense? Or something different even because Haywood was clearly open to using a spread attack in '09 but only in desperation (likely because it was the first year we tried it.)

Not positive on the schedule as of yet. It has probably been confirmed of course just not released as of yet. I'll update as soon as I get anything definate!! Smile

I agree, I would like to see Williams run the flex out of the shotgun a little more. Broadens the options and makes the defense think pass. Would like to see the ball in the air a couple of times more per game.

This doesn't tell you too much, but:

- All 10 teams on Belfry's schedule were playoff teams last season. 6 of those teams won their first round game.
- 8 of Belfry's 10 opponents finished with a winning record, only one team had a losing record (East Ridge).
- Those 10 teams went a combined 80-39

Getting ready! Practice starts on the 15th of this month... some of the boys have been throwing some to each other after school just to get an early start and hope coach is able to tell they were working when they didn't have too!! LOL... ... Season starts in March! Smile

Are you talking about Mingo Central? If so , I think it all depends on who is going to coach. In my opinion if Yogi is coaching then Brlfry and Pike co. central will be ok, if some one else gets the job, ( Melvin Cunningham) then lights out for Pike County schools, all will stay in Mingo, and some of Pike county kids may transfer over to mingo. Now that would be a turnaround!

No chance any game breakers transfer from Belfry to MCHS. I've always heard Melvin is a pitiful coach.
