When i was 9 years old i collected pocket watches. I have 97 and counting today. That christmas mom and dad bought me a $700 pocket watch 24k gold with " Love Mother and Father" engraved in the back. Its the nicest thing i own and ill keep it forever.

They are great!...you download a book from amazon.com....it connects wirelessly in like about 3-4 minutes...you can choose the font you like!...some books have enabled text to speech....so the Kindle can read it to you!
you can down load more than just books...magazines, newspapers, ect..
I can even get text books, school books!, Bible....it is true awesome!

I was about 8 or 9 and asked Santa for a Easel to color and paint on.
I was sooo excited to get it!...woke up!...NO EASEL!...Santa Forgot!
I was so sad but kept unwrapping presents!...My Brother and sisters all got what they asked for...which rubbed it in worse!
My Dad made me go out and get more wood for the Fireplace...and There it was!....with a note!

They are Starting at $139 now!....I got mine last year and it cost me $279....grrr!...everyone should get one!...I was able to download a book and read when I got it out of the box in like 10-15 minutes!

Popcorn oil!
My Mammaw wanted us to share....she bought my brother a popcorn maker!..his twin the popcorn!...and me the oil!
My brother told us we could keep the oil and popcorn...he'd get his own!

I won about 30 of mine at the old walmart in paintsville in one of the machines. The one that no one ever won on but me. they eventually took it out. I like to think i was taking their money from them.

I once won 12 stuffed animals out of one of those machines!...we were in a restaurant and the manager asked me to stop so he could refill it!... Lol...sounds like we could go around making a killing on grab machines!...haha

We have a Coal Mining Musem here in Harlan that has a mining ride!...Portal #31 was an actual working mine at one time that has been adapted to a open attraction!...you get to ride deep into the mine on one of the low riding shuttles to view the mine and the history of mining!... They have displays throughout of different ways mining underground has been done through the years!...very neat!
