I missed the first part of the game, but were the Ravens penalized for the hit that caused Ben's bloody nose? I know last week, the Bills had him on the ground and were grinding him into the ground and no penalty was called. Just wondering were the consistency is. If the league is going to protect the quarterbacks, why are they letting Ben get beat to death?

Can't figure out why teams are allowed to tee off on him and everytime the Steelers breathe on a QB, the flags come flying. Roger Goodell a.k.a. judge, jury, and executioner has to go.

He wasn't tee'd off on. It was the tackle and when Ben twisted and fell, he fell face first. It was not a hit to the head, unless you consider the ground hitting him in the head

So the ground bloodied his nose and did that through the face mask? Amazing.

Why no flag on the hit to Heath Miller? Just about broke his neck. James Harrison needs to sue the NFL. They would have flagged him and fined him $50,000 for that hit.

When Big Ben was getting sacked Nagota (sp?) grazed Big Ben's face. IDK know if Nagota knew he did it to be honest. There is big inconsistencies in the calling.
Did you Miller get drilled and Collinsworth go off about the officials? That should have been 15 yds. I wonder if he will get fined for hitting Miller like that.

Ben's nose was broke on the play where he hit the ground with his helmet.

Intentional or not, you make contact with a QB's head, it's a flag. My point is, if that had been Harrison, you can bet he would have been flagged. And fined.

!
The replay that I could find is not a good angle. nothing indicates here was hit in the face

Why even post this link? The camera didn't even show the hit. The announcers have said it should have been a penalty. But last week, the Bills defenders just kept grinding him in the ground with no penalty. But the thing about Ben is that he is tough. The play where he got out of the pocket and threw it away was as good as it gets.

Watch SportsCenter. It shows a really good shot of Ben getting hit across the facemask. Two, count 'em, two, personal fouls that should have been called that could have really affected the outcome of this game.

The NFL hates the Steelers. Pittsburgh is the only team in the league that is singled out and targeted for these "illegal" hits that everybody else delivers on us. Screw the NFL. How awesome is it going to be when that punk Roger Goodell has to hand the Superbowl trophy to Mr Rooney after he's pretty well altered the game because of our team?
