Besty Layne looked very impressive in a big early season conference game. Nathan Martin had a game high 27 points, Casey Adkins finished with 15, and a nice performance from Andrew Roberts who finished with 19, he had a lot of very athletic plays around the rim. Guard play was very well, both Tackett and Maldanado are very unselfish, didn't score a whole lot, but distributed the ball very well. They really got AC frustrated with their defensive pressure and cause a ton of turnovers.

As for Allen Central, Coach Martin really learned a lot about his team last night, had the easy W over Jackson City the other night, but it was tough goings last night, but they have some great talent and a lot of heart, still a lot of room for improvement, but Mark will have the Runnin Rebs ready to go as the season progresses.
