Personally, as a PIKEVILLE graduate, I never cared for any county school when we were playing them, but always wished them well and was supportive when they were in a position to bring recognition and/or a championship back to Eastern Kentucky! A perfect example is Shelby Valley last year. I grew up detesting them, but rooted for them all the way in the All A and Sweet Sixteen. I was looking on the KHSAA website and it looks like it directs you to the WKU ticket website and that there is two ticket options, VIP seating and General Admission. I dont remember there being a difference when Belfry played in Louisville. Can anyone shed some light on how the tickets actually work?

Central's football team is going back to Bowling Green.
Central's Stephon Winburn surges ahead of Tilghman's Josh Forrest as Central High School plays Paducah Tilghman High School at Central for the semi-final 3-A state championship. (By David R. Lutman, special to The Courier-Journal) November 26, 2010
Coach Ty Scroggins' Yellowjackets earned a trip to next Saturday's Class 3-A state final by knocking off defending champion Paducah Tilghman 35-18 Friday night at Central's stadium.
Anthony Wales, Central's talented junior running back, scored his team's first two touchdowns on short runs, then climaxed his big night by intercepting a pass and running it back 40 yards to score.
"Oh, my God, this feels so great," he said afterward. "I'm so emotional right now. From going two-a-days in the summer to this and back to Bowling Green. Everybody doubted us after we started out 1-6. Even our own fans doubted us."
Central, which played seven Class 6-A teams this season, will take an 8-6 record into next Saturday's noon final against Belfry, which defeated previously unbeaten Somerset 28-23 Friday night. The game will be played at Western Kentucky University's Houchens Industries-L.T. Smith Stadium.
"This is why we play all those 6-A teams," Scroggins said.
Central is seeking its third state crown in the past four seasons, having won it all in 2007 and '08 under Scroggins.
In helping the Yellowjackets avenge a 24-21 loss in last year's semifinal in Paducah, Wales carried 22 times for 134 yards, raising his season total to 2,722 yards. He has scored 38 TDs.
He had only two long runs against the quick-hitting Tilghman defense, gaining 22 yards on his first carry and romping for a 50-yard gain in the second half.
"My teammates did a good job keeping me in the game," Wales said.
Tilghman ran the ball only 15 times. Quarterback Sam Cox threw 40 passes, three of them for touchdowns. He also was intercepted four times, twice by Kevon Dunbar, who also scored by making an over-the-shoulder catch on a pass from Tajh Milliken for a 63-yard scoring play that made it 28-12 with 2:55 left in the third quarter.
"Dunbar played great," Scroggins said. "He dropped one in the end zone, and that was the third one he's dropped like that this season. But we told him we were going to keep throwing the ball to him. He just had to catch it."
Dunbar, a 6-foot-3 senior wide receiver, also had the job of guarding the Blue Tornado's Mr. Football candidate, 6-4 senior Josh Forrest, who has committed to the University of Kentucky.
Forrest grabbed eight passes for 219 yards, including a 14-yarder from Cox that gave Tilghman an early 6-0 lead. In the third quarter Forrest caught a Cox pass on his 35, then outran two defenders to complete a 94-yard scoring play that cut Central's lead to 28-18.
"Forrest is a big-time receiver," Wales said. "Kentucky got a good one there."
Scroggins said his team proved it is not just Anthony Wales.
"We had some people that really stepped up," he said.
Stephon Winburn, the Yellowjackets' other running back, had a 54-yard run early in the game and finished with 75 yards on seven carries.
Devonte Yelder caught a 19-yard TD pass from Milliken to make it 21-12 after the Blue Tornado had closed within 14-12 on an 11-yard TD pass from Cox to Jadarion Harmon with 19.8 seconds left in the first half.
Harmon caught five passes for 46 yards, and Rashad Brown grabbed three for 64 yards.
Tilghman didn't run the ball much even though Justin Williams had gained 1,305 yards this season.
"Justin is our best running back, and he felt dizzy -- he had the flu and a sprained foot -- so we had to throw the ball," coach Randy Wyatt said. "Central did a great job of adjusting (to the pass). They made more plays than we did."
Scroggins admitted he was surprised Tilghman threw so much.
"We didn't practice to defend the pass that much," he said. "I thought they would give the ball to 27 (Williams) a lot. At this stage of the season everybody plays good defense. Dunbar had to guard Forrest. I told him he was just as tall as Forrest. He did a good job."
Forrest also intercepted a pass and returned it 52 yards to the Central 28 late in the game.
Cox completed 18 passes for 351 yards, but he lost the ball once when Dominique Tolley stole it from him and ran 40 yards to the Tilghman 33. The Yellowjackets scored from there on a pass to Yelder.

If Drury is booked, there is a Country Inn and Suties located directly across from it within walking distance. Now, this is NOT beside of the field. The 2 hotels are just beside of each other (This info via the Drury information specialist)

Um, CTD I wouldn't quite say ALL sports! Above is last seasons baseball record against PC.....
Just had to do that to ya son.... Although I like a LOT of people from PC and do actually have family that attends there, I personally can see your opinion yet wonder exactly why you feel this way. I would cheer on PC if it were them in the spot we are..... Those young men have earned this and those boys have worked hard all season long.... I mean HARD to get to where they are at. I hate you feel the way you do as one day you may have one of your own out there playing and I'm sure most of us would support him/her if they were in the same spot as ours are!
I think everyone has gotten the wrong idea of me due to something I have posted.
Phs1986. I was actually talking about since the school opened. And belfry has always had pretty good baseball teams too.
And I didn't say these boys don't DESERvE to be where thu are. They keep winning so of course they are where they should be.
PH95. What I was referring to is the fact I have never PICKED against belfry. I'm not stupid. If I think they will win I will pick them to win.
The difference here is that I'm not a FAN of belfry. And for reasons I don't feel like explaining deeper than what I already mentioned above i don't root for them outside of pike county any more than I root for them inside the county.
So with all that said I just want u guys to understand that I'm not a total "hater". And I do understand what they have accomplished. You can go through any belfry pc thread that I have posted in and u will see I've never even PICKED belfry to lose one of those games (in football).
But good luck to both teams may the best one win (I just hope one team wins more than the other).
I'm in love with Tawnya.. hehe..

You have your reasons and that is your business and not any of ours to question.... I hate you feel the way you do but it's not up to me to second guess you! I wasn't being a butt either when I posted the baseball scores..... My son plays baseball (actually played this summer with one from PC on a travel ball team) and I really like PC's baseball coach. He's a good guy!
With that being said, good luck to both teams, ONLY I want PIKE COUNTY BOYS to bring that hardware HOME!!!!

According to Western ticket office, VIP is in the lower section on home side. Belfry is assigned to the visting team side where the press box is. There is no VIP seating on the the visiting team side. The phone # to Western ticket office is 270-745-5222 if you have any questions.

Thanks for the info, I think there should be one price to get in and that's it. I think breaking it up between VIP and General Admission is ridiculous. So if the Belfry side is general admission only, then you might as well wait til you get to the game and purchase your ticket there.
Go Pirates!

According to the lady I spoke with, the visiting side has bleacher seating only. The VIP seating is chair seating (no VIP seating on the visiting side which is where Belfry is)

After watching the tape on centrals win last week,I will say they are fast, with some fairly decent size and really good playmakers. I think Belfry has to play there best game of the year to beat them, didn't say it has to be a pefect game just a smart game,Try to get something going in the first couple of series is a meassurig stick toward the rest of the game, get a couple first downs will go along ways in getting some momentun, and play smart on special teams, kick away(toward the side lines and cover it fast)there best players, and keep it within 7-points at half. With that said and if we can win the turnover margin------BHS21----LCHS20.....good luck and see u in Bowling Green!!!!!!!!!
