Oden has zero luck.

Hate to hear that about such a talented big man.

Bust!

Did he graduate from Ohio State?
If so, he needs to get some work out of his degree Wink
#7
I'd like to seen how his career would of turned out of it weren't for these injuries.
#8
he was raw in college... Just hasn't got over the injuries..

Has anyone heard the Oden song? Heard it this morning on ESPN radio. Sad, but funny.

In the 82 games he has played, healthy, he hasn't been much of a factor. His game just isn't NBA good. Kinda like Ben Wallace but not as good on defense.

I would disagree that he was ever healthy. And when he was able to get on the floor, he was never in shape. That would translate into poor performance, not indicative of whether he was good nor not.

Well I will agree to disagree. I thought he was only that good in college because of his size and length. In the NBA there are many, more talented, players his size.

Has he ever played a full season in the NBA? He might not again.

It's not so much that we disagree. To me, he was a flop. But I honestly can't judge anything about his NBA career, because he never had one. I won't put any crede in his NBA numbers, because they were certainly tainted. He was never healthy enough to show anything. As far as talent, we will never ever know if he had any or not, so I really can't compare him to anyone.

I agree, when he was drafted people were talking about him being one of THE GREAT big men. We are talking about his stock being SO HIGH that the Blazers passed on drafting Durant to get him. I just wonder what would/could have been.
