A little bit of football history for the history buffs.....
November 11th 1950...60 years ago today - the infamous Hazard - Harlan Brawl took place at H.B.I. Field (later known as Collins Field). It was the final game of the season. Hazard beat the undefeated Harlan team 13 to 6. According to a report, words were exchanged and a Harlan player kicked a Hazard player in the face and fans from both sides stormed the field that started a riot that lasted 3 or 4 minutes. Both schools were suspended by the KHSAA for seven weeks.> >

I've heard a lot about this one.
I wonder if the 7 game suspension was for the basketball team....
If it was the last game of the season....
a 7 week suspension probably wouldn't do much lol

I've wondered about that myself. There's probably not a lot of people left who were at the brawl since they would be close to 80 now.
