The District games should be Corbin, Wayne Co, McCreary Central, and Casey Co? Is that right?

So we get some pretty good rival games with Corbin, Knox Central, Harlan Co, Whitley Co, Middlesboro, and Clay Co in 2011. Going to beat a great year to look forward too. Rivalry games are always better to get excited about. :Thumbs:

Great schedule, lots of good teams, should be some solid games there worthy of watching.

Thats one underclass team in Middlesboro based on next years realignment - local rival in the ol days - nice to have them back.

It's a nice schedule.

However I don't see anyone in that district as "tough" except Corbin. Bell didn't decide who was in their district so no blame there. But don't call it a "tough district" when Bell and Corbin are the only good teams in it. :Thumbs:

Is Lafayette in The City County Bowl

The Lafayette game on the schedule is part of the I-High Fayette Co Bowls @ Lafayette next season.

That game is not necessarily against Lafayette. The game will be played @ Lafayette either on Friday or Saturday but Bell Co could end up drawing any of the 5 Lexington schools? Matchups havent been finalized yet.

Each of the 2 games on Friday night and 3 games on Saturday will consist of one team outside of Lexington vs. a Lexington team. The 5 teams from out of the Lexington area are Bell Co, Bowling Green, Harlan Co, Simon Kenton and Ryle. Each one of those will play either Lafayette, Henry Clay, Tates Creek, Dunbar or Bryan Station.

The City/County is going to be the Middlesboro vs Bell Co game every year now with no other teams coming to play in it.

Is the ihigh bowl games week 0? I'm guessing it is, seems like ihi gh kicks off each sports season with a bunch of games in Lexington so they can show all of them. Coach Larkey doesn't like to play week 0 he says he doesn't like to stop once he gets going, but as bad as we need games I don't guess we have a choice.

i'd like to see Estill and Bell play, i think it would be a pretty good game, but if they did play it would be in the playoffs

Bell will have to play Central now JUST to win Region. If they do that then they will have to face PT or Ft Campbell for State Semi. IMO being in 3A WEST is going to be harder than 4A. Playing for Region in 4A was either KC or LC. Now its Louisville Central a much harder team.

1 good thing is neither Central and PT have a defense like Boyle Co at stopping the run. Thats what Bell Co likes to do the most.
